On Tuesday August 30, 2016 at Ayden Court Nursing Home Ayden, NC our beloved Juanita Brimage Dolphin gracefully left her earthly home and entered into eternal heavenly rest with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Juanita was the daughter of the late George and Lovenia Brimage. She was born on April 2, 1937 in Scranton, NC. She is survived by three siblings, two sisters, Jessie Brimage, Carolyn Bell, one brother, Willie Lee Brimage. Juanita moved from Scranton, NC at an early age and moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and married Phillip Dolphin, Jr. and had six children, five girls, Delores Randolph Brown(deceased), Arnita Dolphin of Winterville, NC, Phyllis Dolphin Ross of Winterville, NC, Phillip Anthony Dolphin, III of Tampa, Florida, Demita Dolphin Farrow of Winterville, NC, Jolanda Dolphin Hill(deceased). Juanita moved to New Jersey after her children were born. She began her profession in Nursing which she was a Nursing Assistant at King James Nursing Home for many years at the same time working at Rutgers University in the Housekeeping Dept. While living in New Jersey Juanita attended Deliverance Prayer Revival Tabernacle Church, Pastor Elois Bellamy in New Brunswick, NJ. She was a very devoted Christian who believed in God and always stood for what she believed in. She never met a stranger, if you needed help or even a place to stay she was always there for anyone that needed her help. She used to gather children from the neighborhood when she had that one day off and months and made everyone go to church even when you didn't want to. She was Momma, Granny, and Grandma to so many. Juanita is preceded in death by two sisters, Ida Payton and Alberta Jarvis; four brothers, Milton Brimage, Enoch Brimage, George Brimage, Leon Brimage; longtime special friend, Thomas Pearson. Juanita leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memory her four remaining children; her grandchildren, Talesha Johnson, Nakisha Dolphin, Kianna Ellison-Hart, Rishone Dolphin,Tabatha Ross, Shakeem Dolphin, Jawan Dolphin, Juanetta Dolphin, Latesha Farrow, Juanita Paylor, Shareena Farrow, Janetta Hill, Mark Ross, Jessica Parker; a host of many great grandchildren, friends, cousins, nieces, nephews and many, many more love ones.
