Ms. Crystal Ebron

Ms. Crystal Denine Ebron was born April 19, 1983, in Greenville, NC, on her mother’s birthday to Charles and Geraline Ebron. She departed this life on Thursday, April 29, 2021. Crystal attended public schools in Martin County and was a 2001 graduate of Roanoke High School. During school Crystal was in the band where she initially played the clarinet and eventually played the saxophone. She attended school at DeVry University in Georgia where she majored in Business Administration, Pitt Community College for Phlebotomy, and Martin Community College for Medical Coding. Shortly after joining St. John Missionary Baptist Church Soul Saving Center in 2007, she gave her life to Christ. She enjoyed serving as a member of the choir and volunteering at the homeless shelter and the food bank. Crystal overcame many health challenges, never complained, and always had a positive attitude. Despite these challenges, she still lived life to the fullest. Crystal held many jobs including bank teller, postal carrier, truck dispatcher, and bookkeeper. She loved her Ford Mustang “Bruce” and she was so overjoyed to be able to drive it for the first time following her amputation. Crystal never had children, but she treated her dog Jazmyne as the child she never had. She loved going on vacations with her family including multiple trips to Atlanta where she once lived, couponing, and doing puzzles on her iPad. She loved St. John, and her Pastor and First Lady. Crystal was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Major and Mary Ebron, and her maternal grandparents, Joe and Essie Stancil. Crystal’s strong and beautiful life will be forever cherished in the lives of her parents, Charles and Geraline Ebron of Robersonville, NC; three sisters, Develyn Staton of Greenville, NC, Dr. Tonya Williams of Atlanta, GA, Stephanie Howard of Greenville, NC; one brother, Sergio Willis of Los Angeles, CA; two nephews, Semaj Howard of Greenville, NC and Brian “BJ” Williams, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; two nieces, Kei’Ondrea Howard and Daijah Howard of Greenville, NC; two great nephews; two great nieces, many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her; a devoted boyfriend, Lorenzo Martin of Robersonville, NC; her second mom, Carolyn Godley of Washington, NC; her special friend, Jayme Watford of Williamston, NC; and her beloved Yorkie, Jazmyne.
