WILLIAM THOMAS GORHAM was born February 3, 1973, in Wilmington, North Carolina, to Mary Gorham and the late Robert Gorham. He departed this life on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. WILLIAM received his early education in the Pitt County Schools. He graduated from JH Rose High School Greenville, NC in 1992. He was a lover of sports and cars and played all sports from 5 years old to 12th grade. His favorite football team was the Pittsburgh Steelers. His favorite basketball team was the UNC Tarheels. He loved all his jobs, but his passion was working on cars and driving his 18-wheeler truck. WILLIAM was preceded in death by his father, Robert Gorham; his paternal grandmother, Earline Gorham; maternal grandparents, Mattie Cates and Ben Bell. WILLIAM leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Mary Cates of Greenville, NC; two daughters, Courtney Gorham of Greenville, NC and Tahjai J. Gorham of Hinesville, GA; one granddaughter, Caydene Nobles; one grandson, Jayden Edwards; bonus children and grandchildren, Rayenika Jones of Greenville, NC, and Telicia Jones of Knightdale, NC, Demikeo Jones of Greenville, NC, Bailey Wiggs of Knightdale, NC, Leland Jones of Knightdale, NC; one aunt, Sandra Boyd (Willie) of Greenville, NC; one uncle, Marvin Moore of Maryland; one niece, Bridget Moore of Maryland; one nephew, Keenan Meadows of Maryland; two cousins, Willie Boyd, Jr. (Pamela) and LaToya Boyd (Jerome) both of Greenville, NC; a very special friend, Michelle Dixon of Greenville, NC; a host of other cousins, relatives, and friends. Billy, “Bill Blast” as he was called by family and friends will be greatly missed, but his precious memories will remain in the hearts of all that knew and loved him.
