Mrs. Sarah Louise Draughn

Sarah Ross Draughn Was born June 1, 1967 to William Clayton Ross and the late Sylvia Harrington Ross and entered eternal rest on November 26, 2020 at her home, Oak City, NC. Sarah attended Roanoke High School where she graduated in 1986 and furthered her education at Martin Community College where she earned a Nursing Assistant certificate. Sarah was united in Holy matrimony to William E. Draughn and was blessed with five children. Sarah was a very dedicated wife and mother; she took care of home, loved her family and was always willing to lend a helping hand when she was able. Sarah always instilled the values of hard work and the importance of family. Sarah was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Deborah Parker. Sarah leaves to cherish her memories, a husband, William Draughn of the home; two daughters, Deborah Sarfo(Emmanuel) of Durham, NC, Taneka Draughn (Darius) of Greenville, NC; step-children, Toby Draughn, Demetrius Draughn, Lawanda Draughn; brothers, William E. Ross of Long Island, NY, Jeffery Ross of Baltimore, MD, Darrin Ross of Long Island, NY, Morris Jones (Brenda) of Robersonville, NC, Patrick Jones (Stephanee) of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Susan Williams of North Charleston SC, Evelyn Jones of Atlanta, GA; three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law; two granddaughters; five grandsons; beloved aunts, uncles; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
