Isaiah 53:5 KJV Roberta Florence Lang was born in Kinston, NC (Lenoir County) she was the daughter of the late Florence and Rommie Lang, Sr. She passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 9, 2022. Roberta graduated from Adkin High School in 1965 with honors. She moved to Greenville, NC, where she worked for Mohawk Industries (formerly known as Fieldcrest Cannon Inc.) over 30 years. Roberta enjoyed singing, gospel music (Aretha Franklin) attending church, reading, and crossword puzzles. She attended Holy Trinity UHCA, Inc., as a young girl, with her grandmother. She later joined and has been a member for many years. Roberta learned French in high school and would often speak it to her family and friends. Roberta was full of laughter, life and would always bring laughter to her conversations. She also enjoyed being in the comfort of her home. Roberta leaves to cherish her memory a devoted daughter, Michele Lang of Winterville, NC; sisters, Barbara Brown of Kinston, NC, Audrey Taylor of Morristown, NJ, Rhonda Wooten of Kinston, NC; brother, Rommie Lang, Jr; a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
