Robert Richardson, “Boot Jack” the son of the late Robert Lee and Reatha Richardson was born on April 16, 1942. He departed his earthly life on December 5, 2020. Robert Richardson was employed by the Martin County School System as a locksmith for 31 years. He later retired in 2007. Robert was joined in holy matrimony on December 28, 1963 to Mary Brown Richardson. From this union four children were born, three sons and one daughter. Robert was preceded in death by two sisters, Annie Mildred Richardson Howell and Mable Ann Moore; four brothers-in-law, Preston Howell Sr., James Brown, Robert Brown, and Milton Brown; his oldest niece, Cathy Howell Perkins. Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Mary Richardson of Robersonville, N.C; three sons, Robert E. Richardson of Robersonville, N.C, Curtis Richardson of Greensboro, N.C, Timothy Richardson (Brenda) of Hassell, N.C.; one daughter, LaWanda Richardson of Robersonville, N.C.; three granddaughters, ShaNeisha Richardson and Patrina Richardson both of Greensboro N.C., Althena Richardson Aikens-Houdek (Ssgt Frank) of Dover Delaware; one grandson, Kymoni Richardson of Belvoir N.C.; one great-grandson, Jace Hester of Greensboro N.C.; three sisters-in-law, Barbara Andrews (Donnie) and Margaret Thompson (Charles) all of Robersonville, N.C., Ruby Everett of Everetts, N.C.; two brothers-n-law, Glenn Brown and Terry Brown both of Robersonville, N.C.; he is the uncle of six nieces, Mary Louise Bell (Patrick) and Patricia Ann Bell both of Williamston, N.C., Peggy H. Jones (Dennis) of Sandy Springs, G.A., Teresa H. DeNeal (Rev. Marc) of Dallas, TX, Colonel Sheila H. Flowers of Woodbridge, V.A., and Pamela H. Runnels (late Calvin Runnels) of Winston Salem, N.C; two nephews, Preston Howell Jr. (Shannon) of Gold Point, N.C. and Albert Earl Bell (Melissa) of Williamston, N.C.; close friends, Terry Speller of Williamston, N.C. and Lymon Carmon of Robersonville, N.C.; a host of great nieces and nephews and other relatives.
