    Mrs. Peggy Langley

    March 6, 1959 - July 17, 2021

    I have fought a good fight and I have finished my course; I have kept the faith…11 Timothy 4:7 Peggy Louise Smith Langley was born March 6, 1959 to the late Frank Smith Sr. and Beatrice M. Smith in Pitt County, North Carolina. She peacefully went to be with our Lord and Savior on July 17, 2021. Peggy attended Pitt County School and graduated from North Pitt High School. She joined the working force at DOT Transportation and was self-employed with her on cleaning business. Peggy leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Eddie Dean Langley of the home; one son, Michael Smith of Wisconsin; step-son, Ferando Ward of Raleigh NC; grandchildren, Elijah Lien, A’mya Smith, Ja’Tez Ward; mother, Beatrice M. Smith of Robersonville; three brothers, Frank Smith Jr. of Robersonville NC, Carl Ray Smith of Robersonville NC, and Dexter Smith of Robersonville, NC; three sisters, Diane of Greenville, Delois Smith of Greenville NC, Reita Smith of Robersonville, NC; three aunts, Hilda Roundtree, Jean Morgan and Mary; brothers-in-law, Calvin Williams (Teri) of Delaware, PA, Henry B Langley, Jr. of New Haven, CT, Willie E Langley (Patty) of Stokes, NC, Benjamin Langley (Barbara) of Greenville, NC; sisters-in-law, Deborah L. Worsley of Robersonville, NC, Marjorie L. Heath (Mark) of Greenville, NC, Julie L. Bunn (Dennis) of Bethel, NC, Laura Langley of Greenville, NC, Calasha L. Clark (Michael) of Greenville, NC; two god brother’s, Gary Wilkins (Mattie) of Prince George, VA, and Ronnie Alston of Greenville, NC; a host of nieces, nephews, others relatives and friends.
