Today we celebrate the life of Patricia Ann Brown Likely. Patricia was called to Glory on December 11, 2021 at 12:23 p.m. after a valiant battle that God determined was no longer hers. Patricia, who was also fondly called "Ann" by many and "Pat" by her husband, was born on September 5, 1950 to Henry and Viola Brown. Patricia was indeed an independent warrior throughout her life. Patricia received Christ at an early age and later became an Usher at Cedar Hill Baptist. Patricia graduated from E.J. Hayes High School in 1968. She was a loved and brilliant student who continued her education at Elizabeth City State University until she decided to start her career. Her career included AT&T, American Express in Brooklyn, NY and American Express transferred her to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. for two years. When she returned to Williamston, NC she worked at Burroughs Wellcome until it closed and then as a Financial Advisory at Wells Fargo until she retired. After retirement she furthered her career at Mideast Regional Housing Authority until her demise. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving parents Henry and Viola Brown; two brothers, Randolph and James Henry Brown. Patricia leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving husband, Charles Likely of Greenville, NC; one daughter, Treesa Sheniel Brown (Gemond) of Winterville, NC; one son, Kenneth Brown, of Greenville, NC; four grandchildren, SaQuan Williams and Jy'mir Brown of Winterville, NC, Dylan Hall and Nasir Williams of Greenville, NC; three bonus children, Latonya Huff, Tina and Sade Walston; all of Greenville, NC; two brothers, Rudolph (Linda) of Grifton, NC, Milton (Janice) of Greensboro, NC; five sisters, Vivian Thorpe of Cedar Grove, NC, Barbara Biggs of Williamston, NC, Cynthia Jones (Robert),of Browns Mills, NJ, Rosita Adedoyin (Hezekiah) of Philadelphia, PA, Anita Williams (Henry) of Williamston, NC; three aunts, Lucille Speller of Virginia, Janie Burns and Dorothy Worsely of Williamston, NC; three sisters-in-law, Sylvia Likely of Winston Salem, NC, Cathy Gable of Greensboro, NC and Marcia Blount (Chris) of Cinnaminson, NJ; a devoted friend, Gay Stancil; a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives and dear friends.
