Ms. Mary Mollie Bryant Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mary Mollie Bryant, daughter of the late Alfred Godley and Annie Hopkins Bryant was born on July 14, 1930 in Beaufort County, NC. She departed this life on May 17, 2022 at 8:20am at her home surrounded by her love ones. Mary attended EJ Hayes and Bonny Best school in Martin County, NC. She worked on the farm in her early years. Later in life Mary worked at Williamston Warehouse and was there until her health declined. Mary attended several different churches as she moved from place to place. The churches she affiliated with where Shiloh Baptist Church, Mt. Zion Holiness Church, United Holiness Church of Deliverance and later joined Apostle Deliverance #5 under the leadership of Elder George F. Tobias, Jr of Selma, NC. Mary attended church very faithfully until she could not drive anymore, and her health declined. Mary loved to cook, sew, and drive. Driving to see her sisters was her passion. She lived a quite life, and didn’t know a lot of people, her family was the love of her life. Mary leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Mary Stokes (Ellis); one granddaughter, Sequita Crandell of Raleigh, NC; two grandsons, Damain Cummings of Bunn, NC, Cornelius Bryant-Lawrence of the home; a special niece that helped with her care, Evangeline Brown; a host of nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
