Mr. Jimmy Lee Wooten

Jimmy Lee Wooten was born on October 29, 1955 to the late Glen and the late Mary Wooten. Jimmy Lee Wooten transitioned on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. Jimmy was reared in the Rock Spring Community. He attended the Pitt County School where he graduated from Farmville Central High School in 1976. Jimmy became a member of Rock Spring FWB Church at an early age. He was Chairman of Deacon Board, Sunday School Teacher and attended Bible Study until his health failed. Jimmy was listed in the book of Who’s Who in America in the category of church secretaries. Jimmy worked at Pitt Memorial Hospital until the name changed to Vidant Medical Center for thirty years as a Behavioral Health Specialist. He received his Master’s Degree in 2008 in Social Work. Jimmy was the one that loved everyone. He will be dearly missed. Jimmy was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Vines; brother, Larry Wooten. Jimmy leaves to cherish his memories, three sisters, Eleanor Nobles, Shirley Chapman, Harriet Tillery; brother, Erwin Wooten (Portia); aunts, Maude Barnes, Nina Nobles, Irene Nobles, Lena Nobles; uncles, Willie Nobles, Ruffus Huggins; devoted cousin, Joseph Nobles; special friends, Vanessa Sheppard, Frances Barnhill, Minnie Pierce, Charlie Evan, James Daniels, Catherina Davis; a host of other relatives and friends.
