Mr. Jeffrey Allen Hines

December 15, 1954 - October 6, 2020

JEFFREY ALLEN HINES, age 65, a resident of Cary-Morrisville, NC, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. He was born in Pitt County on December 15, 1954 to the late Herman “Tincy” Hines and Mrs. Zenobia “Zee” Hines. Jeffery graduated from Julius H Rose High School in Greenville, NC the class of 1973. Over 50 years ago Jeffrey met his best friend/childhood sweetheart Phyllis Moore Hines. On October 27, 1973 they were united in holy matrimony. Jeff was a loving husband, father, brother and friend and he will be truly missed. Jeff was employed for several years with E. I. Dupont Company in Kinston, NC and later transferred to Dupont located in Richmond, VA. Upon returning to North Carolina he was employed for many years with the RDU Airport and his long-term employment with K&L Gates Law Firm, RTP. Jeffery was a fanatic Steeler fan who had a passion for cooking and a crazy sense of humor. He was so easy to love, but most of all he was my best friend. Jeffrey was preceded in death by Marion Forbes (uncle), and Mattie Forbes (Aunt). In addition to his Father and Mother, Jeff leaves to cherish many, many BLESSED memories of his wife, Phyllis Moore-Hines of Cary-Morrisville; two wonderful sons, Jaquane Hines (Vernett) of Atlanta, GA, Demarcus Hines (Emily) of Phoenix, AZ; twin siblings, Anthony Hines (deceased) and Anthonette Robertson (Rob) of Charlotte; sister, Jacquelyn Barrett (Milton, deceased) of Grimesland; also left to cherish his memory is Ronald Forbes-special cousin-brother (Alice, deceased) of Greenville, NC; mother-in-law, Edna Spain Moore of Greenville; brothers-in-law, William Whichard (deceased) (Yolonda) of Washington D.C.; Joel Moore (Margaret) of Richmond Virginia, Cornelius Moore (Irene) of Honolulu, HI, Wayland Moore (Chandra) of Greenville, Eldred Moore of Greenville; sisters-in-law, Francine Teel (Deceased), Edna Ruth Minor (Steve) of Williamston, Lisa Moore Ebron of Greenville, NC; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
