Life’s Journey For Janie Gray Black-Price October 12, 1939 – October 18, 2016 One of the most joyous days in the life of the late Timothy and Wilora Black was the day when their eighth child was born known as Janie Gray Black. She would be reared in a family of much love, a Christian home of high moral standards and a great work ethic. Janie attended the Gold Point Colored School and W. C. Chance High School in Parmele. She graduated from East End High School in Robersonville in May of 1958. After relocating to Brooklyn, New York for a short period of time, Janie married her high school sweet heart, the late Willie Clyde Price. They made their home in Connecticut for over fifty years. Janie’s early childhood training and work ethic made her an invaluable employee of T-Bar Corporation. Her motivation and determination earned several outstanding job performance awards.
