Mr. Gregory L. Roundtree Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gregory Lamont Roundtree, the first born to Reginald and Brenda Roundtree on February 3, 1972 at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville. He departed this life on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. As a son of a military family, Greg went to schools in both Ayden, North Carolina and Killeen Texas, getting his diploma from Killeen Texas. After high school Greg eventually returned to Ayden, North Carolina. He acquired several jobs in the Greenville and Kinston area. After staying in North Carolina for a while, Greg missed his own family and returned to Texas to be closer to his children and grandchildren. Greg's last employment was with Teijin Automotive of Seguin, Texas. Greg was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Willie “Bud” and Leora "Cute" Roundtree; his maternal grandparents, John and Carrie Manning, Sr. Greg leaves to cherish his memories sons, Jiar Royston of Seguin, Texas and Josh Peterson of Washington State, daughter, Katherine Steans of Seguin, Texas; grandchildren, Jaxon Hamel and Malaysia Royston all from Seguin, Texas; his parents, Reginald and Brenda Roundtree of Ayden, NC; brother, Jericka "JJ" Roundtree of Alaska; sister, Reggielette (Larry) Coley of Winterville, NC; aunts, Carrie (James) Woods and Sherdean Roundtree both of Ayden, NC; Tequilla Manning, Yvetta Jones of Greenville, NC, Sheila (Daryl) Dunn of LaGrange, NC, Teresa (James) Roach, Tuwanda (William) Stokes, Tomeka (Tarrus) Carr all of Winterville, NC, Sandra Shorter of Ayden, NC; uncles, Doug (Valeria) Roundtree of Bellmead, MD, John “JT” (Naoma) Roundtree of Ayden, NC, John (Abbigail) Purvis of Greenville, NC, John Jr (Kimble) Manning of Alaska, Larry Manning of Bethlehem, PA; a host of great aunts, great uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
