Mrs. Ethel Louise Little Crandell

Ethel Louise Little Crandell was born October 14, 1929, in Pactolus, North Carolina to the late Abe and Addie Little. She departed this life on Wednesday, Oct 14, 2020, at her home surrounded by family. God al-lowed her to celebrate her 91st birthday before she transitioned. Ethel attended school in North Carolina. Ethel was a faithful member of New Wynn Chapel until her health declined. She was well known to serve others in the church, the community and often solicited her children to do the same. She was known for her singing and her favorite songs were “You Got to Move," and “Can’t No Body Do Me Like Jesus.” She loved to cook and often baked her famous pineapple cake. Ethel was preceded in death by one daughter; two great grandchildren; two sisters; six brothers. Ethel leaves to cherish her memories to her husband, Shelton “Moot” of the home; seven children, Shelton Crandell, Jr (Diane) of Danbury, CT, Sybil Best (Perry) of Bethel, NC, Angela Kay Ebron of Danbury, CT, Bobby Crandell (Rosslyn) of Charlotte, NC, Patricia Crandell of Greenville, NC, Norris Crandell of the home, and Vicky Crawford (Mike) of Accokeek, MD; two adopted daughters, Karen Little Moore, and Wynesha Crandell; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great children; and five great, great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marsha (Joyce) Davis, employed by Peggy’s Home Care, provided excellent care for our mom, and we will be forever grateful.
