I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: 2nd Timothy 4:7 Diane Ward-Randolph was born on April 13, 1961 to James Louis Ward and the late Reatha Ward in Pitt County. She departed this life on Tuesday, April 19, 2022. Diane attended Pactolus School, Stokes Pactolus Middle School and graduated from North Pitt High School. She also graduated from Mt. Calvary Church Bible School. She was employed with ECU housekeeping department for over 10 years. Diane lived a fabulous life, like she wanted it. She was a giving person and never met a stranger. Diane enjoyed a lot of things in life, but her love for her children, grandchildren and family was an undeniable love. Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Randolph; her mother, Reatha Mae Ward; two brothers, Clinton Ward, James Louis “Buckshy” Ward, Jr; one brother-in-law, Nathaniel “Big Moel” Fields. Diane leave to cherish he memories, her father, James Louis Ward, Sr; two daughters, Jamalia “Renee” Ward, Gabriella Danae Ward both of the home; she reared, Janautica Ward; five grandkids, Janasia, Erin, Kaiden “Bigboy”, Kaitlyn; one sister, Eva Mae Fields of Greenville, NC; three brothers, John Frank Ward (Angel), Bobby Ray Ward (Lisa), Mitchell Ward (Pat) all of Greenville, NC; four uncles, Nick Ward of Charlotte, NC, Andrew Ward (Barbara), Charlie Ray Ward (Pete), Eddie Ward (Annie B) all of Greenville, NC; seven aunts, Jeanette Sheppard, Ann Lee Ward, Dorothy Mills, Ann Sharpe all of Greenville, NC, Patricia Ward of Albany, NY, Laura Harrell (Willie Lee) of New Haven, CT, special aunt, Hattie Speight (Clint) of Pactolus; one daughter in kind, Nekita “Skita” Carney; three special nephews, Randy Ward, Moses Ward and Chris Ward; four special nieces, Rana and Dana Barnes, Krystal Ward, Ashley Ward; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Psalm 30:5 KJV
