John 8:28 Brenton Octavus Preudhomme aka “Smooth” passed away at Vidant Medical Center on June 11, 2020 at the age of 32. Brenton was born in Roosevelt Hospital in New York, NY to Lois Thompson and the late Ronald Preudhomme on October 6, 1987. Brenton attended John Bowe High School, Flushing, NY and Pitt Community College, Greenville, NC. Brenton enjoyed life to its fullest. He was the life of the party and he made things happen. Brenton was a good dad to his three boys, and he was very stern with them. He had a lot of love for his family and his many friends. Brenton was a member of First Calvary Baptist Church, NY where he was a member of youth choir, ushered and a trained young Deacon. Brenton is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Preudhomme; his brother, Ariel Thompson, and his sister, Eva Mercer. Brenton leaves to cherish his sweet memories his mother, Lois Thompson of Edenton, NC; his three babies, Kamran, Zion and Isiah; his brothers and sisters, Anthony Preudhomme, Tyrone Preudhomme (Veronica), Juanita Preudhomme, Victor Preudhomme, Bryant Preudhomme, Derrick Preudhomme, Vincent Preudhomme and Erika Preudhomme; his Uncle Calvin and Aunt Lucile Roberson of Greenville, NC; a devoted girlfriend, Simone Givens; mothers of his three sons, Latoria Anderson, Kelsey Jones, and Taneshia Wallace; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, special friends, Dwayne"Munch"Young, Shaquoya May, Dominique "Blocc" Cherry, Shayniqua "Juicy" White, Alfred "Po" Saulsbury, Faith Sharpe, Kelvin "Flee" Brown, Roderick Stewart, Taray "Ray" Kelly, Nate Gilliam, Shawn Nobles, Jaiquan Brown, Raquan "Fufu" Smalls, Becky Phillips, Tyler Smallwood, Raquane Smalls, other relatives and friends.
