October 27, 1987 - May 1, 2020
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Angelica Da’Juana Duggins, affectionately known as “Angel”, was born on October 27, 1987 to Paulette Duggins and Tony Veale. Angel was born 9 minutes after her twin brother Tony, and the two were inseparable their entire life. Angel was born and raised in Williamston, NC and spent her adult life in Winston Salem, NC with her twin brother. She graduated from Williamston (Riverside) High School in 2006. In 2010, Angel graduated from Winston Salem State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She worked for Forsyth County Department of Social Services full time and managed her beloved Poshmark closet on the side. Even at a young age, Angel had the most delightful smile. She was joyful, generous, loving, and caring. She always put others before herself. She was hardworking and dedicated to everything she did. Her family was the joy and center of her life. She enjoyed showering her loved ones with gifts, and extravagantly planning their birthday parties and events. Angel privately and gracefully battled cancer for 3 years before being welcomed into the arms of The Lord. She transitioned from Earth to Heaven gracefully and peacefully on Friday, May 1, 2020. She was surrounded by her loved ones at her home in Winston Salem, NC. To cherish her memories, Angel leaves her loving and devoted mother, Paulette Duggins (Reevey); her father, Tony Veale (Debbie); her 2nd father who helped raise her; Jeffery Rodgers; grandmother, Lou Bland; Godmother, Selma Smith; her twin/other half, Tony Duggins (Alicia); sister, Joy Duggins; sister, Jasmine Stimac (Jesse); brother, Cameron Rodgers (Jasmin); brother, Darius Veale (Tashawna); sister, Kayla Veale; beloved nephew Dawson Stimac; darling nieces, Marley Rodgers, Ava Duggins, and Lily Stimac; nephew, Jah Smith; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
