Ulrich Reymone Daniels, affectionately known as “Rey”, was born on April 3, 1970 in Westbury, NY. He departed this earthly life on March 13, 2012 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC. Rey was a 1988 graduate of Roanoke High School, Robersonville NC. Upon graduation he enlisted into the United States Navy, and was honorably discharged after four years of service. After his discharge he decided to join the United States Army Reserve, where he served for two additional years. In 2002, Rey attended Truck Driving School in Rock Hill, SC and obtained his certification for his CDL-Class A license. He worked as a truck driver for many years until becoming promoted to his current position as a supervisor with Ezzell Trucking Company. RoShonda Wiggins stole Rey’s heart in 1997 and they were joined in marriage on September 1, 2000. God blessed this union with a son, Jordan Reymone Daniels to go along with his son Demonte’ Reyshun Boyd. Rey was a family man and was well known for always making sure his family was pleased, especially his wife. He was hard working and no matter the task he always gave it his best. He never murmured or complained about anything. He always replied with his favorite word “OK”. He was a true servant and a great example of how one is to serve others. Rey joined Rock Hill Missionary Baptist church at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Elijah Crandell. After marriage, Rey and his wife became members of New Wynn Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, under the leadership of Rev. James T. Lindsey. After accepting the gift of salvation, Rey’s love for God grew immensely. He was very devoted to his walk with God. He took it very seriously and it showed in his daily life. Rey was preceded in death by a loving brother, Demond Davis Daniels. Rey leaves to cherish his memories: his devoted wife, RoShonda Daniels of the home; two sons, Jordan Daniels of the home and Demonte’ Boyd of Robersonville, NC.; his parents, William and Mary Brown, Bethel, NC; six sisters, Teresa Brown, Raleigh, NC, Tammy Andrews, Greenville, NC, Tonya Joseph(Norman), Robersonville, NC, Sharon Langley(Leon), Everetts, NC, Tawana Sanders(Derrick), Raleigh, NC, Latrice Danyell Perry(Brian), Greenville, NC; two brothers, William Brown, Jr, Fayetteville, NC, and Cedric Brown, Winterville, NC,; mother-in-law, Kay Peele, Robersonville, NC; father-in-law, Larry Wiggins; two sisters-in-laws, Teresa Beach, Williamston, NC and LarKeriya Wiggins, Robersonville, NC.; two brothers-in-law, La’Kendall Wiggins, Everetts, NC and Laurice Boston(Lakeisha), Greenville, NC. Special friends: John Wilson, Philinte’ Ford, Marquel Griffin, Kevin Lynch, Marvin Bryant, James “Tino” Morning; a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
