Mr. Thomas Louis Hill

Thomas Louis Hill was the oldest child born to Thomas Hill and Lillie Mae on November 29, 1941 in Robersonville, NC. He attended Martin County public schools and graduated from East End High School. Thomas enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served his country. Thomas completed his time in the Military and started his career in Baltimore, MD as a long-distance truck driver. He droved eighteen wheelers for over forty years. His career allowed him to travel all over the United States. Thomas won first place several times and was featured on the cover of the trucking magazines. His passion and dedication to driving trucks afforded him the opportunity to purchase his own tractor trailer. Thomas loved socializing, making people laugh and having a good time. He purchased a night club, Giant Social Club located in Baltimore. When he was not driving tractor trailers or running his night club, he was finding other ways to make additional income. He was definitely an entrepreneur at heart. Everyone that knew Thomas knew that he married his first and true love, Isolean Speller Hill. He loved the outdoors, running hunting dogs, his shot guns and being in the woods. Thomas passion was his pickup trucks. Thomas reunited with his father, Thomas Leone Hill; his mother, Lillie Mae Hill; his wife, Isolean Speller Hill; his daughter, Devie Hill; his brothers, Donald Mitchell Hill, James Hill; in-laws, William Speller, Dorothy Chesson, Shirley Bell, Margaret Coburn, Richard Speller, Elizabeth Speller and Elisha Speller. Thomas is survived by his children, Anthony Hill of Baltimore, MD, Ricky Hill of Williamston, NC, Rodney Hill (Renee) of Williamston, NC, Khateeta Ore of Greenville, NC, Donyae Wilkins, Donte Wilkins both of Baltimore, MD; step-son, Darryl Speller (Lisa) of Williamston, NC; grandchildren, Teshauna, Charles, Sade’, DeAndre, Ricardo, Printise, Chadawn, Malik, JuaQuin, Chabria, Donyel, Khateeta, Donyae Jr, D’onte, Zariyah, Lamisha, Rodney Jr, Londyn, Jasmin, Keyvon; ten great-grandchildren; his siblings, Clarence Hill (Angie), Francis Knight (Mason), Ruby Durham (Glenn); his in-laws, Mary Kane, Elisha Speller Jr (Carol), Joseph Speller, Frankie Speller, John Speller, Barber Thompson (James), Iris Davis (Chester), Elizabeth Beasley (Clinton), Valerie Speller; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
