Mrs. Pamela Brooks Webb

The Life and Legacy of Pamela Renee Brooks-Webb A Time to be Born Pamela Renee Brooks-Webb affectionately known as “Yogi”, daughter of Earlie C. Brooks, Jr. and Shirley Hagans-Dover, was born on April 17, 1967 in Manhattan, New York. She was the older of two children from that union. A Time to Grow Pamela was educated in the public school systems of East Orange, New Jersey and Plainfield, New Jersey. After graduating from Plainfield High School she had a strong desire to pursue higher education. She was accepted and studied diligently at Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina and Union County College in New Jersey. A Time to Plant In her travels back and forth to North Carolina she met & fell in love with and later married her wonderful soulmate Ronnie Webb. From this union were two precious sons Matthew and Ronnie. They had a great time attending and cheering for both sons at all of their sporting events. They also reared their children to believe in God. Pamela took Matthew and Ronnie to Sunday school and Church regularly. Both sons briefly enjoyed singing in the youth choir. A Time to Serve Pamela began her Christian experience as a child at Mount Olive Baptist Church in East Orange, NJ. There, she was baptized and became an active member in Sunday school and the youth ministry. Pamela never gave up her Christian roots. She became an active member at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, NC, along with her husband and children. Pamela enjoyed an exciting employment season as a dedicated operator for New Jersey Bell Telephone Company. She became an exemplary day care instructor at Child Time in Greenville, NC. After being diagnosed with a Kidney situation she needed more quality time with her children and employment that was less stressful. Therefore, Pamela chose to begin working at Sam’s Club before becoming a manager at Five Below. A Time to Die Pamela peacefully departed this life on October 11, 2016 for her heavenly reward. Her husband Ronnie, maternal grandparents Bennie Sr. and Eula Hagans, her paternal grandparents, Earlie Sr. and Margaret Brooks preceded her in death. She leaves a void in the hearts and minds of all who knew and loved her: two loving sons, Matthew and Ronnie of the home; step-daughter, Roneek; beloved father, Earlie C. Brooks, Jr. of Littleton, NC; cherished mother, Shirley Hagans-Dover (Derrick) of Plainfield, NJ; devoted brother, Earlie C. Brooks III (Kelisha) and nephew Jalen of Whitehouse Station, NJ; motherin- law, Portia Clements of Garysburg, NC; two sisters-in-law, Debra Dean (Calvin) of Westbury, NY and Cathy Webb of Garysburg, NC; Uncles, Willie Hagans (Mary), Bennie Hagans, Jr. (Joyce), Marvin Joyner (Mary Jo), Milton Hagans (Wyonnia), and Daryall Hagans; Aunts, Carolyn Hunter (Julius) and Ophelia Thomas; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.
