Ms. Nicole Andrea Lewis

Nicole A. Lewis unexpectedly passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 leaving behind her four children Jalyn, Daiyan, Aniya, and Ariana. If you had known Nicole, you would know she was a loving and caring mother to her children. The family understandably shocked by this loss and unfortunately not prepared for all that goes along with planning a funeral at this time. They are raising money to assist with unexpected funeral costs. Early Sunday morning, November 5, 2023 God called our beloved daughter, Nicole Andrea Lewis home. We know she believed in Jesus Christ and now she will be with him forever. No more sorrow, no more pain. Nicole is now where peace and happiness reigns forever. Nicole Andrea Lewis was born in Frederick, Maryland on March 21, 1983. She gave her life to Christ at a very young age and joined First Missionary Baptist Church in Frederick, Maryland. Nicole was very involved in church activities as a youth, such as being a member of the Hospitality Ministry, sang on the Youth Choir, Hands of Glory Ministry, faithfully attended Sunday School, participated in all Christmas and Easter programs. Nicole just wanted to help and be a part of everything. Nicole attended Frederick High School and graduated in the year 2000. During her senior year, she also attended the Career and Tech Center in Frederick where she took preliminary classes preparing for Medical Assistance Program. In high school, Nicole played the clarinet in the Frederick High Concert Band. She also played on the girls’ basketball team for a few years. In her younger years, she worked at Citizens Nursing Home in Frederick and Frederick Memorial Hospital. Nicole attended Kaplan University where she obtained her Associates Degree from their Medical Assistant Program. Nicole was employed at various Medical Facilities in Frederick County and Montgomery County, Maryland. Nicole was a very friendly and jovial person with a great sense of humor. During our times together as a family, she would always make us laugh. Nicole, and her only sibling Jermaine, were very close and loved each other dearly. After her parents retired and moved to North Carolina, her brother was diagnosed with MS. Nicole made sure that he received the help he needed. Nicole’s four children, Jalyn, Daiyan, Aniya, and Ariana were dear to her heart. She loved them dearly and always wanted them with her. She was also an extremely resourceful person. She worked diligently to provide for her children. In addition to providing for them, she always made sure that her children were involved in school, community, and church activities, such as dance, chorus and cheerleading for Jalyn. All four children sang in a church choir for a time. Daiyan playing flag football as a youngster and now high school football. Nicole never missed a game. She was always there, cheering him on in the stands. Nicole was a devoted “Redskins Fan” (now the Commanders.) She watched football faithfully with her son, Daiyan while always encouraging him to stick to the game he loved and to do his very best! Nicole was always looking out for his future plans in sports. Nicole was so proud of all of her children’s accomplishments. Even her young twin daughters, Aniya and Ariana, she would share with us even their smallest accomplishments in school. Nicole was always sending pictures and videos of her and her children. What A Devoted Mother! Nicole leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Jalyn Nicole Sampson, Daiyan Nico Lewis, Aniya Daisy Lewis and Ariana Elsie Lewis; her parents, Henry B Lewis, Jr and Naomi W.
