Mary Louise Anderson Outlaw affectionately referred to as ‘May’ from family and close friends alike was born in Pitt County, January 23, 1948 to the late Joseph and the late Lossie Bell Anderson. On the 13th of April, 2017, we did so painfully received that Mary Outlaw was raised up to Our Lord and Maker after sixty-nine years on this Earth. Beautiful Mary loved her parents, siblings, extended family and friends. After assisting her family and completing high school at Bethel Union in 1966, Mary was invited to come to Brooklyn, New York by her brothers whom were already enjoying success as contractors and skilled tradesmen. It was with her sistern- law Florence Anderson that she learned of Banking Opportunities and subsequently began her career in that Industry modestly as a Teller for NY Bank & Trust. Mary enjoyed success alongside her siblings and at work as well. Mary would later return to Greenville to continue her career in banking where she gained substantial success as well as obtaining new relationships throughout Eastern North Carolina of the professional nature. One of such contacts was most significant and appealing. A business interest which turned personal partnership with a young salesman in early 1980’s. He would become a pioneer in his field and known statewide for his credentials and success in automobile sales, achieving twenty-eight years in his career. The Lord had found it fitting for these two to be more than key contacts or mere coincidence. Mike James Outlaw Jr. also cared for a daughter, Yolanda, born on September 23 as well, and a son, Mike Outlaw III. They both shared common goals and sentiments that were key in their growth which would eventually lead to a marital union in 1985. Mr. Mike James Outlaw Junior and Mrs. Mary Louise Outlaw has held fast to those same principles of sharing and staying grounded which has now attributed to thirty-two years of matrimony. With the spirited support of her husband Mike, Mary would return to school to obtain an Associates Degree from PCC in 1995. Mary was a committed woman of God who would assist anyone who wanted to better him or her self in society. As of now, Mary has assuredly joined with family members in God’s kingdom including brothers, Willie, Nelson, David, and Thomas; Her Father and Mother Joseph and Lossie Anderson; and lastly her Second Mother, Ms. Martha Merritt. She waits in paradise to reunite with, Husband, Mike Outlaw, Jr.; Her sons and daughters, Jody, Yolanda and Mike III; Daughter-n-law, Denice; Son-n-law, Cameron; Grandsons, Jonathan, Brendan, Orlando, Kayshawn, and Kyle; Granddaughter, Bridget (bibi); Brothers, Jessie and Marcellus Anderson; Sisters, Dorothy White and Betty Staton; First Cousin, Perry Baker; and a number of nephews and nieces in NYC, Raleigh, DC and the Greenville area that she loved. She thanks Vicky, Candace, Isabella, Ms. Linda, Mr. and Mrs. Randy and Jackie Blount, Gina, Belinda, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Suggs, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Teel, Mr. and Mrs. Willie Levett, McGregor Down Rehabilitation Center Employees, Pastor James and Sarah Corbett, The Late Mrs. Delores Corbett and the entire Community Christian Church Family and others who gave laughter as medicine and good counsel as a gift.
