Lovely Pearl Who was Lovely Pearl, she was the rarest Pearl you could have come to love on this Earth. God gave my brother and I the rarest pearl of all because when he made her, God broke the mold – So you couldn’t get another Lovely Pearl. Lovely Pearl loved people, dancing, and smiling. She loved to invite you over to eat, listen to music, dance, and wanted you to be at ease. She did not like arguing and fighting, she always wanted to see you smile Lovely Pearl liked to write, draw, play bingo, and shop for nice things. She liked oldies and goodies, Jerry Butler, and BB King Blues. She would talk about going to the soda shop after school and dancing while hanging out with her friends. My mother, Lovely Pearl, you could talk to her about anything, and she would answer you that was the type of pearl my brother and I had. She never let you go hungry, and we had nice clothes. She took us on trips as a family, she hugged and kissed us a lot. My mother, the rarest pearl of all lived her life to the fullest, she traveled, loved playing bingo, graduated from college, and when Thanksgiving and Christmas came, she would decorate up a storm. She kept a clean house and a pretty one too – because of the way she treated you, you would always want to go back and visit. My brother and I shared our rarest Lovely Pearl with others as long as you made her happy. When she thought about you, she would give you unexpected gifts that would make you smile and happy. You see, dear family and dear friends, she loved all of us here. Lovely Pearl was the rarest pearl. Think of the good times she shared with you and smile. Lovely Pearl has gone back home to God because he came to collect our rarest Lovely Pearl.
