Keshia Juanita Knight was born on August 23, 1974 to Samuel Louis Knight and Janie Ruth Knight. She departed this life on Monday, March 26, 2018. Keshia attended Roanoke High School in Robersonville, NC. She furthered her education and graduated from ECU with honors and received a Bachelor of Science Degree. Keshia was encouraged by her professor to pursue her master degree. She was employed by Convergys of Greenville, Community Tax Service and Peer Support Service. Keshia was a member of the former New Fellowship Christian Church under the leadership of Pastor Lula S. Brown and Bishop Kelby Moore. She was a member of the praise dance team, choir, kitchen and dining ministries and any other areas that she was asked to serve in. Keshia lived to serve others no matter how big or small. If you were hungry she would feed you. If you had no money she would give you her last. Keshia loved to cook, especially banana pudding and cakes. The love she shared for her family was extraordinary. A friend to many; no matter who you were or how you treated her. There was nothing too small or too great for her, concerning her family. Keshia shared her life with Larry Darnell Hudgins, Jr. for twenty-three years and to that union three children was born. Keshia leaves to cherish her memory three children, DyKuayshia Viola Hudgins, Z’Quoya Charisse Hudgins, TriQuisita Janie’ Hudgins; father, Samuel Louis Knight; mother, Janie Ruth Knight; brothers, Samuel Louis Knight, Jr., Frederick Benard Knight (Monica), Armetrius Duane Knight; special sister-in-law, Rhonda Sue Smith-Knight; two granddaughters whom she loved very much, Ava Martia Hudgins and Alaina Juanita Hudgins; aunts, Katie Lee Manning, Mary Paulette Myrick, Jeanette Spruill, Annie Spivey (Frances), Doris Brown, Vera Dabbs, Bertie Brown, Sandra Swain, Eunice Knight, Deborah Knight; uncles, Leo Peele, Bishop Steve Peele, James Peele, Hilton Peele, Clyde Brown, Dwight Peele (Ernestine), Douglas Peele; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins that she loved very much; friend, Jaunese Hines and other special friends that she deeply cared for. God saw the rose was ready to be picked from His garden and He chose Keshia from that garden. To my family, “GOD GOT THIS” Until we meet again!
