A time of war, and a time of peace. Ecclesiastes:1-2,4,8 Carl Barnard Lee, Jr. was born on November 5, 1991 to Julia Harrison-Worsley and Carl Bardnard Lee, Sr. in Pitt County. He departed this life on Thursday, November 22, 2018, at the tender age of twenty-seven. Carl attended the Martin County School System in Robersonville, NC and proudly received his GED from Martin Community College in 2015. He had numerous jobs but was recently employed at Perdue Farms in Lewiston, NC. The day of his employment at Perdue he announced to the world that, "I do what I need to do for my kids." CJ was very devoted to caring for the needs of his children and family. "CJ" as he was affectionately known lived to serve others no matter what the task. He was gifted to love and fully operated in this gift daily. Rarely would you ever see CJ without a smile on his face, or an I love you on his lips. His presence embodied the spirit of love. His hugs and kisses were a testimony of his love for his children, parents, family and friends. CJ became a master griller and often boast about his grilling skills. He loved family and was very supportive to what he could do to make life easier for others. He was not without fault but continued to thrive to support his passion which was his children. The many pictures of his children, siblings and family on facebook is a testament to his love. CJ was good with his hands, and called himself a "Jack of all trades." CJ was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Lee Smallwood and Evelyn Lawrence. CJ leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Julia Worsley (Walter); father, Carl Lee, Sr. (Arlinda); five adorable children, Carson Lee, Zymeria Lee, Carl Lee III, Charod Lee and Za'riah Chesson; five sisters, Tiara Grimes, Brianna Ewell of the home, Shaquanna Bond, Shari Bond-Hall (Brock) of Raleigh, NC, Da'Shae Lee of Lewiston, NC; one brother, Ronald Harrison of the home; step-siblings, Gena Worsley Gibbs (Terrell) of Winterville, NC, William Worsley of Washington, NC, Joshua Worsley (Jennifer) of Greenville, NC, Walter Worsley, Jr. of Washington, NC and Dexter Slade of Windsor, NC; grandparents, Lewis Alston (Charlotte) of Tarboro, NC, William Lawrence (Gloria) of Williamston, NC; honorary grandparents, Linda Gibson (George) and Valeria Watts of Williamston, NC; honorary stepmother, Dorie Bond; two special God-mothers, Yolander Durkett and Joyce Outlaw; aunts and uncles (Julia's siblings), William Lawrence, Don Lawrence, Trinia Cox, Latricia Harrison, Shalonda Watts, Ella Tatum Lewis Alston, Anthony Grimes, Stephanie Alston; aunts/uncles (Carl's siblings), Elga Robinson, Doretha Bazemore, Kenneth Lee, Donna Latimer, Alyce Purcell, Margaret Bridgett, Jean Crabbe, James Allen, Benjamin Allen, Joseph Allen, Jesse Allen Spencer Allen, Donell Cooper; honorary auntie, Lori Worsley; a special friend, Dyamond Wilson; special home boys, Javon Greg, Herman William, Anthony, Chon, Javion, Travis and Darrell; a host of great aunts, great uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and others dear to his heart.
